Dental implants and crowns on your dental vacation in Cancun!
Last month we had the honor of having Brianna visiting us to get her dental implants and crowns done while she was having a dental vacation in Cancun. Dental tourism is really the best way to save hundreds if not THOUSANDS of dollars on your dental care without having to sacrifice quality. My name is Brianna Bauer and I live in Delrey Beach, Florida. I had bone graft on the bottom of each side, a bone graft on to the top of each side, sinus cavity left, I had 14 implants done with crowns and 10 caps across the front so an entire mouth reconstruction.
What I had done would have cost close to $200,000 in the US. Now that is without insurance and with a mediocre dentist, this is not a mediocre dentist, this is a full staff team, that is above and beyond.
I have not expected the care level that I received and every step of the process every single day they checked up on me calling me 3 times a day making sure that I was ok that I was eating ok, they were asking if I needed to be brought to the grocery store.
They were asking if I needed recommendations to any restaurants, they went amazingly above and beyond. I don’t see a dentist office in the US doing something like that.
Cancun is absolutely gorgeous, the people here are amazingly nice just all around everywhere I have been going through my latter half of the dental procedures I’ve been here alone, so to be a just a girl on her own through Cancun, there hasn’t been a point where I felt unsafe, it’s been extremely pleasant everyone is extremely helpful and you would be surprised how many people actually speak English just all in all.
There has not been a single point where I felt like I was unsafe for being followed or being scared at an awkward way this is a tourism area and if they had that sort of scenario where there was an unsafe environment the tourism would undeniably go down, so the police you’ll see just hanging out everywhere, they will smile at you, it’s nice.
As far as what I was scared of obviously it’s having that much work…the pain involved… I was fearing that because I didn’t know how my body would react to that. I have not really felt much pain, there was one day after they had put in the front caps where I just felt the pressure and immediately they had prescribed me a non-narcotic pain medication that worked, I was fine. As far through the procedures, I opted for general anesthesia*, the IV anesthesia (SEDATION DENTISTRY), so I felt nothing I just woke up from it and oh everything’s done!
I am actually really surprised that people are complementing me not just on my smile but on my teeth, I have gotten a good few compliments wow you have beautiful teeth, and of course immediately my conversation moves towards praising this dental office. I have been extremely happy with this entire process.
Everyone has been extremely helpful and yes, I was very scared of the dentist office, just because I had bad Dental experiences in Florida before when I was younger, and the patience of the staff and the quality of work is to perfection. This is making you smiling an art and that is what they do.
