all-on-4-image

The All-on-4 procedure consists of placing two vertical implants in the front of the arch, whether for the maxillary bone or the mandible. Then two inclined implants are added to the sides to provide stability and anchoring for the milled titanium bar that holds your new teeth in place.

All-on-4 is the best solution if you want a complete arch with inclined implants.  They look and feel natural and at the same time provide a strong bite. You’ll also feel secure knowing your teeth won’t fall out.

Our clinic has the cutting-edge technology needed to insert All-on-4, performed by our certified physicians.  Our medical director, Dr. German Arzate, has over 20 years’ experience in Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry, and is one of the few dentists in Mexico certified and recognized by the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI/ID).

Here are some of the reasons why you should get your All-on-4 Implants in Cancun with us:

For years, regular dentures were the only option for people with missing teeth. Thanks to constant advances in oral technology, there are new procedures, like the All-on-4 protocol.  And they’re available for people who are looking for a permanent, palateless prosthesis with implants that can provide a stronger bite and will stay in when you eat, chew or bite.

All-on-4 has helped thousands of patients all over the world. Their lives turn completely around once they can bite again, just like when they were kids!

All-on-4—so called because it is a palateless bridge supported on 4 implants—is the preferred solution for many patients and dentists who are looking for a fixed bridge that can make the patient feel secure when eating, chewing, speaking or laughing.  These prostheses are screwed on to the dental implants that are first inserted in the upper or lower jawbone.  They don’t need to be removed when you sleep; you just brush and clean them like you would your natural teeth.

The procedure is done under light anesthesia.  The necessary teeth are extracted, the area cleaned and prepped for the two implants that are placed at a 45-degree angle, with two central implants going straight up to avoid structures like the paranasal sinuses or the inferior alveolar nerve, making this a very safe and easy procedure to perform.  Once the implants are inserted to 50 Newtons, they’ll be ready for loading with the angled connector attachments, to which the prosthesis is screwed for your restoration, made with the strongest and most esthetically pleasing materials on the market.

ALL-ON-4 is the most advanced Implantology treatment available and Dr. German Arzate is certified and studied under Dr. Paulo Malo, creator of the technique.  He is one of the few doctors in the world with this level of training and skills.  It is important that the ALL-ON-4 procedure be done by a doctor with many hours of practice inserting implants. We do ALL-ON-4 in Cancun with the same high standards and quality materials used in the world’s most prestigious clinics, but at more affordable prices. This can mean a savings of up to 70% over what you would pay in the United States or Canada.

If you think you’re a candidate for the All-on-4 procedure, take the first step: mail us your X-rays, photographs of your mouth or CT scan and we’ll do a completely free, personalized diagnosis so you can see if you are a candidate for this implant technique. The procedure starts from your very first appointment at the clinic. After your personal diagnosis with our doctors, you will have surgery under local anesthetic or conscious sedation (Sedation Dentistry) with a certified anesthesiologist, to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

Once the rest of your teeth have been removed and any structure or bacteria eliminated to leave a clean, level bone base, two angled and 2 straight implants are inserted for the ALL-ON-4 technique.  Attachments are inserted to create the parallelism between the implants needed to achieve the ideal restoration. During the next several days, you’ll have appointments for wax-ups and wax molds with teeth, where they will check the height, shape, design and even the color of your new teeth. You’ll participate in all this process and can see how your ideas come to life.  After these tests, doctors position the titanium bar to hold your teeth in place, for the smile you always dreamed of!  They’re adjusted so you can feel the comfort of eating and the functionality and beauty you expect From ALL-ON-4.

The All-on-4 dental implant is a cutting-edge procedure that provides patients with fixed, permanent teeth using only four dental implants.

Our dental implant center specializes in offering new teeth in just one week, through the use of the All-on-4 dental implant technique for those who are on the point of losing or have lost all their upper and lower teeth.  If you’re looking for a permanent solution, these bridges over implants can provide the stability you need.  We can also make All-On-6 implants, that differ from the All-on-4 technology by the number of implants used and the way they are implanted in the bone.

Cost of treatment at our Cancun clinic is much lower than in other countries.  We use the materials and equipment dentists use in the United States and Canada for a fraction of the cost.

FAQ´S

How do i know i am a candidate for this procedure?

The doctor will do a thorough evaluation of your case. Usually, patients who have lost all their teeth already are good candidates. The amount of bone left in the maxilla and the jaw will likely be a deciding factor. The doctor will request mouth x-rays to check how much bone is left and might need a physical on site examination to confirm.

How do all-on-4 implants keep the denture in place?

All-on-4 dental implants are an advanced dental implant protocol that places two implants in a straight position in the front and two implants in a 45° degree angle on the sides to provide the best anchoring for your denture bar.

How to know if the option is all-on-4 or all on 6?

The doctor will give you a diagnosis to make sure.

Why do i have to wait to put the dentures?

To give the bone time to heal and for the process of oseo-integration to complete. This improves your long term results.

In other places they put it on the same visit, why it is different with you?

While it All-on-4 might have the option to do immediate load, we prefer to give the bone time to heal around the implants. This helps our patients to have better results.

What material are the dentures made of?

The materials are made of acrylic with a screw retained titanium bar inside that gives it the strongest structural integrity.

Can i wear my own dentures and have them adjusted?

No. The All-on-4 and All-on-6 dentures must have the titanium bar inside so it’s not possible to use your old dentures for it.

How many treatments have you performed?

We have performed hundreds of All-on-4 and All-on-6 procedures and placed several thousand regular dental implants.

How long do dentures last?

All-on-4 and All-on-6 dentures can last up to two decades with the required maintenance and adjustments if you follow all the hygiene instructions given by your doctor.
