We always feel honored when patients come back for vacation and choose Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry for additional types of dental treatments. Our dear patient Paty had visited our dental clinic before, so when she was in need for dental implants, she made the decision to get them during her vacation in Cancun.
Paty got an estimate of $5,000 USD per implant in USA and she would be saving more than 70% with us. Dental implants in Cancun cost $899 USD, plus the crown and abutment for $700 USD. We use the same FDA approved materials as Dentists in United States (you can check or price list here). and we have one of the most professional and experienced teams in implant dentistry. We hosted the Live Implant Surgery Course by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where a dozen American dentists come to learn from the experts like Doctor German Arzate, Doctor Shankar Iyer and Doctor John Minichetti. We are just that good!
Paty made sure to make the most out of her dental vacation. She went to swim with dolphins and visited Xcaret, one of the most renowned ecological parks in the world. There are many things to do in Cancun for everyone… from relaxing in the beach of your hotel and visiting archaeological sites, to exciting jungle tours and water sports. There is a reason why Cancun has almost 3 million visitors per year!
Paty left us a couple of lovely messages reviewing Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry:
I love Cancun. Love the clinic. I’ve been here before. Very committed to the patient. Thanks!
She’s pictured above with Doctor German Arzate who oversaw her dental treatment and made sure she was happy with our work. Veneers in Cancun
Is time to tell you about yet another happy patient in Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry! Today we will talk about our dear patient Brooklyn! She’s a lovely woman and this was her first time coming to Cancun. She wanted to improve her smile and we obligated! Like most of our other patients, Brooklyn found out about our affordable dental services looking around the web. The day and age we live on is fantastic because you can even watch the reviews and testimonials of many other patients around the world, like in our youtube channel where we have over 200 videos of happy patients vouching for us.
One of the main reasons why she decided to do her dental work in Cancun was because in USA the same treatment would have cost her well over $5,000 USD. Instead, she saved money by getting a vacation with her gorgeous family and enjoyed the pool, the beach and even went out shopping in Cancun while she was waiting for her job to get done. This is the great advantage of coming here!
She left us a couple of messages:
The male doctor was so friendly and very professional! The lady with the short hair is the BEST at numbing.
I absolutely love my teeth and was worried for no reason. Everything worked out perfectly! Thank you all!!
She’s talking about Doctor Wilmer Travieso and Doctor Yadira Badillo! Doctor Yadira is in fact a patient favorite thanks of her kind and charming personality! Each member of the staff try their very best to make sure you have a pleasant dental experience! In fact, Brooklyn had a small issue with her veneers, but it was rectified right away. Remember, we have warranty in all our dental pieces and will replace them for you at our clinic. You can request more information with our dental planners here in the web chat in the lower left of the page.

Happy Patient (and artist!) with Snap in Dentures in Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
Cheap impplant Snap in Dentures in Cancun
This time we will talk about a returning patient with Snap in Dentures. Our dear patient Mekki Mouldi came to visit us almost a year after getting his mini implants dentures. He’s very happy with his treatment.
Mekki is in fact an artists just like our head dentist, Doctor German Arzate DDS. He came from Montreal and has been made an amazing amount of works with, trees, glass, paintings and sculptures. German Arzate and Mekki connected almost immediately and Mekki was simply delighted to have another artists handle his oral health. He trusted the Doctor’s skills with his hands. Doctor German Arzate has been featured recently on a month long exhibition at the Agora Gallery in New York.
This time around, Mekki went to the beach to take advantage of our sunny days in Cancun. There are many things to do in Cancun, like going on a fishing trip, snorkeling, diving, relax at the all inclusive resort or even go to a jungle adventure tour with zip lines and swim in underground mayan cenotes.
He left us this small message and promised to send us a more detailed review through email:
Doctor Yadira Badillo, Doctor Alejandra Lujan and Doctor German Arzate are excellent.
Our doctors always get a lot of praise because they are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable with your procedure. Our staff is friendly and professional that will be with you in every step of the way. We will make this dental vacation experience as pleasurable as possible.

Another Happy Patient in Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry! (Alison)
Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry Review
We would like to thank our dear patient Alison Blair who came from Alberta, Canada who took the decision to do fillings with use because of our affordable cosmetic dentistry in Cancun.
This was her very first time visiting Cancun. Alison loved the kindness of our staff, especially of our Mexican Doctor Yadira Badillo, pictured above with her. Alison got a very good impression of our dental clinic in Cancun when she arrived. Our facilities are top notch and regarded as state of the art by important dentistry association like the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Dental Implant Learning Center at Englewood who hold the famous Live Implant Training Maxicourse to train American doctors on implant techniques at our clinic twice a year.
Alison told us that even though the dental work she had with her previous with dentists back home were decent, the boring and unfriendly,. This is very common on Canada and the United States. Some practices simply don’t care about how the patient is feeling or how to make him/her relax. We, in the other hand, take great care with our patients, always keeping in touch through phone or emails before they arrive and we will answer all your questions. Our customer care service will be with you every step of your treatment making sure you feel at ease. We understand traveling to another country can be scary, let alone having some sort of treatment additionally to that!
This is a message Alison left us!
Thank you for a great experience. Very friendly staff!
Thank YOU Alison for placing your trust in our hands. We send you the warmest regards!

What are teeth made of? Maybe you would have thought that teeth are some sort of bone, but the truth is way more interesting. Teeth are way stronger than any other human bones, which might be the reason why archeologist find more teeth than any other part of the body in ancient excavations. Healthy teeth can be just that durable!
Each part of the tooth is made of different substances. For example, the outer layer is called Enamel, the hardest of all layers and is composed mostly of a white and rock-hard mineral called calcium phosphate. The enamel is supposed to withstand the pressure of chewing for your entire life, but this doesn’t mean it is impervious. The enamel can be cracked by blunt trauma or can be breakdown by the bacteria’s acid from eating food debris on the tooth surface (caries and cavities!). The enamel cannot regenerate itself like bones, so it requires the intervention of a dentist.
The second layer of the tooth is the dentin. The dentin is made out of a combination of living cells that secrete a hard mineral substance. The dentin is not as hard as the enamel and even the color can go from cream to light yellow. Is very important that you get in immediate contact with your dentist if you start to notice a marked difference in color on your teeth, specially on molars and premolars (white edges with a yellow softer center). There are ways for the dentine to partially regenerate itself, but you need to address bacterial infections and other protection first with the help of a dentist.
The inner most layer of the tooth is called the pulp, which consist of nerves and blood vessels that connect to the jaw bone. This is the most delicate of all part of the tooth. If anything starts reaching the pulp, the pain will let you know.
Here at our dental clinic in Cancun, we usually specialize on advanced implant and denture treatments, but we can also handle general dentistry procedures without a problem. Give us a call for more information about affordable fillings, cleanings and whitening. You could make your appointment during your vacation in Cancun or Riviera Maya. Patient Shelley and Casey Black Dental Implants at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
Shelley Black
Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry staff would like to thank our patient Shelley Black from Golden British Columbia, Canada for choosing our dental clinic for her dental needs. She got done some Dental Implants and crowns. She and her husband Casey Black have operated “Northern Lights Wolf Centre” located in the Rocky Mountains since 2002 to create awareness about the importance of wolves in the ecosystem.
Teeth are important, especially for consummated pack hunters like the wolves. These amazing animals have 42 teeth: 4 canines, 10 carnassials and molars, 12 incisors and 16 pre-molars, enabling them to chew down to the soft and nutritious marrows in the bones. Gray wolves used to be found extensively across North America, but human-related activities have driven them away from their historical hunting grounds.
Shelley and Casey hope to promote the conservation of the natural environment and their role as carnivores to regulate wild life populations. Their centre features photography tours, family tours, field trips for groups, school classroom visits in their area, and even walks with wolves. Their wolves were all adopted from captive breeding programs and now live on a large enclosure. People from all around Canada come to visit this sanctuary.
Casey and Shelley Black come every year in sunny Cancun to enjoy the amazing white sand beaches and to relax on our amazing resorts. Casey has been a long time patient of Dr. German Arzate and share a great friendship. Each time he comes is like visiting part of the family.
Learning about their life work was awe inspiring for everyone at the clinic. In this picture she’s with Olivia, our Mexican dentist. Having you here was a privilege! Thank you Casey and Shelley, we hope to see you again to take care of your dental health and give you a great hug!
