I got eleven crowns done, and I’ll tell you what, the work is terrific, doesn’t take long, the people are very personal, is the third year we’ve been here. My wife has been here for two, she came back with me.

 

I’ll tell you what, everything was terrific, I cannot say anything bad and I would recommend everybody on the USA to come down on here, get your teeth done here because there’s no other place like this. The cost is unbelievable, it is worth the trip. You get a vacation and you get a big smile like this. Very beautiful. Well worth the trip. Really, I would recommend people to come down here to say hello, get your teeth done, enjoy a vacation, and go back with a beautiful smile. I had no problem whatsoever, it’s all been terrific.

 

All the people are great and I can’t say anything bad about it. There’s nothing that I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. A lot of people from the US think “go to mexico to get your teeth done?”, I’ll tell you what, is well worth the trip. They are nothing but terrific.

Robin: I’m so impressed with everything! Everything! I did all my research ahead of time and I’m so happy that I came here. They made it very easy. Everybody speaks English. Paty the office person, I sent emails to her with any concerns, she’d respond and answer everything for me. They picked me up at the airport! Everything that I had anxiety about they helped me. So the whole staff was good and in terms of the quality of work that I get… I’m so impressed. I mean, Victoria, everything, she looks at all, she takes her time; the quality of work, and I come back… I just can’t say enough of how impressed I am and how happy that I made this decision to come here.

Doctor Victoria: Thank you. Would you tell us what kind of treatment did you have on your mouth?

Robin: Oh, I had an implant. Actually had two things done. I had the implant and the… I thought it would hurt a lot more than it did. I was expecting that I would be in a lot of pain for a couple of days, and it really wasn’t that bad. I’m very, very impressed. It is two phases so I understand that I’ll come back for the other part of it.

Robin: In terms of the money, this was so much cheaper than back home. I also had a crown done. And it was easy, there was no pain, and I came back, the crown fitted very well, only lil touches to make it fine. What would cost me back home $5200 USD, here only cost me $2,200 USD. So that $3000 USD I get to come and go on vacation!

Robin: This is very conveniently located there’s lots of hotel and places, I was able to walk here in 15 minutes. It is a clean city and I do feel safe walking around. I walk by myself. I walked at night and most places took American money. Everybody is friendly. And you know, in terms of being an American I felt very comfortable being here.

I just to mention to people who might be thinking about dental work or hesitant about leaving the United States to come to Cancun for their dentistry. I needed a lot of dental work and I’m not the typical patient. I just don’t call somebody on the phone and say “oh I gotta come over to get some dental work done”. I actually went through 15 different clinics, from Cancun, Costa Rica, Tijuana, I even talked to clinics in Ukraine, everywhere!

 

 

And what happened for me was, as I started weeding people out and going through the process of making decisions of where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do, it really came down to a few clinics; and I thought well I need to make a decision but it really wasn’t possible because one of the most impressive things that this clinic did that none of the other clinics did… they all sent me something in writing about estimates and what they wanted to do, and a treatment plan… but the doctor here actually went on YouTube and made a video of my teeth, what he recommended.

 

 

I mean, I thought, number 1, that’s very professional, and number 2, oh my god, he took the time to do that for me! I don’t have that happen on the United States, so for me the choice was pretty simple, and when I got here it just validated what I already felt, which was family here. And the other clinics were talking about me coming and staying with them for 3-4 weeks. I don’t about anybody else, I can’t afford to leave my life for 3 to 4 weeks to go to Ukraine or anywhere else. So when I got here I was a lil skeptical that they could do all that work in just a week, but boy, they blew my skepticism right out of the water, because they did. In fact, it wasn’t even a week. We were here 9 days, on the 7th day they said “you are done”. So I had at least 2 days to have a little fun in Cancun, and I gotta tell you, this is a great place to have fun.

 

 

Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry to me is my dentist of choice. Yes, I know is a long trip for a lot of people, but I’ve met people here from Canada, I met a lady here from the Asian sector. People fly from all over the world to come here! There has to be a reason! And what I’ve been trying to explain to people, the reason is what they do and how they do it. Is not enough for me with my fear of dentists to just say “ok sit in the chair”, it has to be more… there has to be more warmth, there has to be more people feeling comfortable, and there was never a minute here  that I ever felt uncomfortable. Every time I came here I’ve been welcomed, I’ve been honored and I just feel like the most important person here.

 

 

Yes, I was nervous coming down, I was thinking oooh they’re gonna do all this stuff, but, when I got here everything went smoothly and I can honestly say to you I never had one ounce of pain. I never felt any pain. So I recommend this place very highly to anybody who wants to be here. I have already, when I went home, I live in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia, I see a lot of people every day and everybody, what most people say to me was “did you just did something to your hair? Did you change something? You lost weight, right?” , and no, I just got a smile. They said, “that’s right, you never smiled before, I never saw you smile”. So WOW! Yeah! I’ve got a lot of compliments. People ask me how I felt about coming here. For me this is the place to come. Might not be for everybody, but it is for me! And I feel like the bonus is that I saved so much money coming here that, even with the flight and the hotel, I saved almost 25 thousand dollars coming to Cancun. We are so excited to share this with you. We moved about a month ago to our new dental clinic and it is starting to feel like home again! You should know we moved within the same Shopping, to the much more accessible entrance from Plaza Malecón Américas Shopping Mall, so if you were already a patient, we are at a walking distance from our previous place! Here’s a pic taken from the exterior of the shopping mall.

 

You just need to go up the stairs over there. Inside you will see the big interior windows above on the second floor. If you have trouble using the escalator, there is also an elevator from the parking lot below and from the Liverpool area. We are just in front of the Liverpool entrance from the second floor.

 

The first few days were filled with awe because we couldn’t believe the amazing views we have. Before we were located in he center of the mall, overlooking the inner courtyard but now we get a direct view of the lagoon, green areas of the mangrove, the avenue and the high end apartment buildings. We now have more spacious areas and private dental units with AC, so you feel comfortable during your treatment.  We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be!

 

 

 

 

We also got a new high tech x-ray machine. This one can take even 3D x-rays so the doctors can see perfectly the state of your gums, bone and teeth roots. It was very impressive seeing it work the first time! If you were a previous patient you will be impressed by the change. Activities during your vacation in Cancun!

 

People come to Cancun from all around the world looking for a complete smile makeover because of the affordable prices and amazing beaches, but Cancun does not only has beaches where you can relax and have a wonderful time in all inclusive resorts. Here you will also find great golf courses, diving, fishing, adventure tours, parties and many other activities!

 

There are many options available if you want to fish in Cancun. At the docks in Hotel Zone, Puerto Juarez and the Marina you will likely find anything from small skiff-like boats to nice modern yachts. Most of the fishing boats offer either private or shared fishing trips with other tourists and other basic fishing equipment. If you are staying at a resort you should ask at the reception desk for info about this, they usually have a handy list of tour providers.
