“First class dentistry!”- Testimonial review of Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry testimonial review
Today we share with you another great testimonial review of Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry from one of our patients! Here’s a transcript of Stephen’s comments and thoughts about his dental experience with us:
I had a great experience. People are very nice. All the dental work was well done and I’m very happy. And Wendy adjusted what they call a “flipper” it’s sort of like artificial teeth for before you get the real crowns in, and she did a great job adjusting them.
I have to say this is better than any dental clinic in the states. I have to say, cos they take really good care of you and they are very friendly, gentle and highly professional. This is not a backdoor machine shop where you get teeth, this is first class dentist office.
I’ve been here for like the third time now to Cancun, the hotel zone is nice if you have money and want to stay on the fancy hotels, but if you wanna feel Mexico stay in downtown Cancun to see the local people and hear the local languages, and then you can always go to the playa. I enjoyed the experience in Cancun, I love Cancun.
So the nice thing about getting your dental work here is that, you get your dental work done ok, maybe you have a little pain, your mouth numb BUT you put on your bathing suit on, you go to the beach, you get in the water, you are going to forget your troubles! Then you come back a couple of days, see the nice dentists and they take care of you!
I have complete confidence in this clinic. Like I said, first class dentist!

For a lot of people teeth crowding is a problem but also the opposite can be a real aesthetic issue. Some of the reasons why we have gaps between the teeth can be the following:
Suction or thrust of the tongue against the teeth: When the tongue is interposed or pushed against the teeth for a long period of time can end up shifting and separating them. This may be due to having a larger than normal tongue (macroglossia) or a nervous habit that certain people have.
Disproportion between the size of the maxillary bone and the teeth: When the maxilla has developed in excess, resulting in area too large for them, they can’t simply occupy all the given space.
Veneers (and sometimes crowns) can be the solution of choice when we find a disproportion between the size of the maxillary bone and the teeth. It is also used when the diastema (space between teeth) is due to the suction or thrust of the tongue against them. The function of the veneers in these cases is to fill and disguise the empty spaces. We also have the advantage that the veneers not only correct the separation of them, but also can end with aesthetic problems such as position, shape or color.
The other option it to get a treatments with orthodontics to relocate them on the correct position. This process obviously takes more time because the dentist needs to make adjustments slowly while your teeth move from the bone every month or so. You will also be required to wear a retainer after your braces are taken off.

Where to eat in Cancun during your dental vacation?
Where to eat in Cancun during your dental vacation?
One of the big questions we get when our patients come for a smile makeover is where and what they can eat while they wait for their dental work to get done (crowns, veneers, dental implants, All-on-4 or Snap in Dentures). Luckily for them, Cancun is an international destination that has all kinds of foods from all over world! Depending on the treatment you got done, there might be some restrictions to your diet but overall you should be able
Here in the Malecón Americas Shopping where we are located you will find several restaurants like Sirloin Stockade, Hooters, Johnny Rockets, McDonald, Starbucks, for the well known American menus. Comix, is a restaurant chain themed on all sort of media heroes (comics, video games, movies, tv series). There’s also an excellent Sushi place across Comix and right around the corner you can find Cheesters (pastas), La Cantinita and Pozocalli (Mexican food). The shopping mall obviously also has a foodcourt with Subway, Burger King and several other options.
Speaking of food courts, or something along the lines… there has been a new trend lately in Cancun. Food trucks have become extremely popular in the city, giving us a twist to the usual street food in Cancun. Several food trucks owners have come together on a couple of great spots and established an open area with great music and ambiance. You will find “The Deck” a few minutes away from the Hotel Zone, right beside Plaza Canaima on Kabah Avenue. The other one is located on Nichupte Avenue, right beside Plaza Infinity. These Food Trucks are usually open for dinner at 7 pm and the place is packed by 9, so make sure to plan ahead if you wish to bring a rental to get a parking spot or come here on a taxi cab.
We are sure that there is definitely something you would love in any of these delicious options during your dental vacation in Cancun! Affordable white dental resin fillings in Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
Getting affordable dentistry during your vacation can be exactly what you need, but even then, when we go on holidays we usually change schedules, meals, and often neglect our oral hygiene routine, as well as it is very common to go over the board with excess sugary foods, especially in drinks when you are trying to enjoy the beach. Keeping a healthy smile during your vacation days is easy!
If you are coming to Cancun you can come to our dental clinic for your routine yearly cleaning, get that root canal you need, or improve your smile with teeth whitening or some crowns… perhaps even a dental implant! It will be the best way to save on money and prevent bigger dental problems. We offer general dentistry services as well as cosmetic dentistry and dental implants… so anything you need, you can find it here.
But if you are visiting other place instead of Cancun on your vacation, then that usually would mean people neglect their routine of hygiene, so it is advisable to carry a small kit with the necessary items. That is, a kit with a toothbrush and toothpaste, a small mouth wash bottle and floss. It is important to keep these utensils in good condition to prevent the proliferation of bacteria.
In addition to daily brushing, the best allies to perform a good cleaning are the mouthwash and dental floss. Also oral irrigation is also recommended, especially in orthodontic patients but carrying a water irrigator can be a little tricky… but not impossible! We have a patient that actually brings hers with her to clean her screw retained bar and teeth. You can watch the video here.

The best Snap in Dentures solution for your smile!
The best Snap in Dentures solution for your smile in Cancun!
Snap in Dentures is an amazing solution for edentulous people that are looking for an affordable denture implant alternative. They might be asking themselves where to get dental implantsbut regular dental implants can only do so much and more advanced techniques are usually too expensive in USA.
With Snap in Dentures we have come a long way from the first models of implant dentures. Doctor German Arzate has improved those versions, leaving behind 2 or 4 dental implant removable dentures, settling down on 8 mini implants per arch. But why did Doctor German Arzate preferred to use 8 mini implants? Mini Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed or implanted in the jawbone to help as artificial roots for crowns, dentures, and bridges. Mini implants are similar, except the titanium posts are quite a bit smaller (perfect for people with narrow bone), and can be placed and restored in just eight days while you enjoy Cancun.
Additionally besides providing a strong base for your dentures, mini implants also serve to help your jaw retain bone density and avoid bone loss. The mini dental implants stimulate the bone when you bite and chew, similar to the way natural tooth roots function, and prevent the loss of bone mass that can result from missing teeth. In the end, Snap in Dentures will help you restore your smile, regain your confidence as well as a strong bite. The best thing is that it only needs about 8 days to be finished and return home to your every day routine.

How long it takes to get Snap in Dentures? – Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
How long it takes to get Snap in Dentures? - Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry
Snap in Dentures are the perfect solution to fix your smile and only require a single visit to Cancun to get done. You will require about 8 days of vacation here to start using your new teeth! They are better than other types of implant dentures in USA that only use 4 or even just 2 dental implants to keep them in place. Our Snap in Dentures have been perfected by Doctor German Arzate and use 8 mini implants, providing improved anchoring to fix your smile.
The day of your arrival to the dental clinic in Cancun you will meet the staff and the doctors who will sit with you and talk about your case. You will get a clinical evaluation with a digital panoramic x-ray that our dentists will analyze to make sure everything is in order. In the same day you will get the rest of your teeth extracted (if any remain) and the titanium mini-implants set in your gums.
The second day you will be asked to come to make a test on wax to measure the height of your smile. You will be able to choose the size, shape and color of your new teeth. The doctors will help you decide the best form and shade depending on the complexion of your face and mouth.
The 3rd day visit will consist on another wax test, this time with the example teeth. This way you can get a rough idea of the final look of your smile. If there are any particular details you are not happy about, make sure to let the doctor know so they can make the appropriate changes. This is very important! Once you are happy with the way they look they will be send to make the final denture. There won’t be any changes to the teeth themselves after this.
The 4th day you are free to do anything you want. Relax on your hotel and the beach.
The 5th day you will come back to get your palateless dentures, Snap in Dentures adapted with O-rings. You will be able to take them for a “test drive” that day to see how they feel. You should try to eat something with them to check the feeling and ensure they fit properly onto the mini implants.
The 6th day will be dedicated to small adjustments if they are needed. And that’s it! You will be ready to go back home. The times might change a little if there is need for adjustments during the wax text but it shouldn’t take more than 8 working days from your trip. This is the best option if you are looking for a low cost implant dentures. You can save up to 70% compared to other implant dentures in USA and Canada.

If you are thinking on getting your smile makeover and dental implants in Cancun then you need to know what to expect when arriving to this beautiful paradise! For example, Cancun has just recently give up on Day Light Saving and stays on the -5 GMT zone hour all year long, which usually aligns with Florida or Habana.
Cancun has an average of more than 200 sunny days a year and has less annual rainfall than the Virgin Islands or the Bahamas. You may run into some rain, overcast weather and days with bothersome wind gusts. Usually a light breeze blows across the city keeping things cool. Cancun has a semi-tropical climate with an average temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are planning on visiting Chichen Itza during the spring equinox, just make sure to bring a cap and water to stay hydratated. You should

Get a dental implant vacation and relax in Puerto Morelos!
A dental implant vacation and relax in Puerto Morelos!
Many of our dental implant and smile makeover patients choose Cancun to relax during their recovery. They just got their new teeth (or are waiting for them), so what better way to spend the time than to enjoy what this paradise offers? While many like to go out to have an adventure tour, snorkel or stay on their all-inclusive hotels in Cancun, many other patients prefer somewhere quiet and relaxing with less people to spend their recovering days. For this reason, Puerto Morelos might the answer they were looking for!
Located just 20 minutes from Cancun, Puerto Morelos is a small beach town. Starting only as a fishermen’s village its close location to Cancun eventually allowed it to grow on its own accord. Puerto Morelos is very different from Cancun and even Playa del Carmen, the crowning jewel of the Riviera Maya.
Puerto Morelos still keeps the atmosphere of a small town where one can enjoy life at its own pace. The town square is a favorite place for locals to hang out near the pier and give long walks on the beach. There are several family run hotels and bed and breakfast hostels available close to the beach. Here you will also find fishing and snorkeling tours if you are interested. While you are there make sure to eat their delicious sea food from one of the beach front restaurants like a shrimp ceviche or even fish tacos with chips! This is the perfect opportunity to test your implant dentures or single implant.
While we will require you to visit our dental clinic in Cancun during your treatment like crowns, All-on-4 and Snap in Dentures it is possible to stay in Puerto Morelos and grab a cab, get a rental or simply ask for a pick up. Our Dental Planners can coordinate with you and give you all the necessary information to plan your stay and assist you in making the necessary arrangements.
